I’ve always loved the Universe. Since I was a little kid I wanted to be an astronaut. As many other children of course.<\/p>\n
In 2013 I’ve been to Egypt and went on a Safari trip, and when the Sun went down, we’ve had an apportunity to watch the stars through their huge telescope. We even saw Saturn very clearly. As if it were a picture.<\/p>\n
The past few days I spent in our cottage in the mountains, and I’ve finally learned how to take pictures of the night sky. And it wouldn’t be me to not stay outside after 1 a.m., in a dress while it was only 7C, which is around 44F.<\/p>\n
As you can see in the pictures with me in it, my arms are quite shaky, that’s because to take a picture, the longer the shutter is open, the more detail you have in it, which is needed while taking pictures of stars. Aka I stood awkwardly in front of the camera for about 20 to 30 seconds just for one photo.<\/p>\n
And the light which looks like a shooting star, isn’t actually a shooting star but a satellite. There were many shooting stars in the sky, but they go by so quickly and when you’re taking picture for 30 seconds straight you are not able to capture one.<\/p>\n
So these shots below are my captures from one night in the mountains.<\/p>\n
